30 September 2021 in Kyiv took place international workshop «Technologies for Promoting Staff Psychological Health in the Organization»

The organizers of the international workshop were European Association of Work & Organizational Psychology (programmer EAWOP Practitioner-Oriented Initiatives, Second Edition 2020) and Ukrainian Association of Organizational and Work Psychologists (UAOWP).


The international workshop was co-organized by Vilnius University (Department of Health Psychology, Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy; Organizational Psychology Research Centre) and G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Studies of Ukraine (Laboratory of Organizational and Social Psychology).

 

Barbara Smorczewska, PhD, Assistant Professor at School of Management University of Silesia, member of Executive Committer of European Association of Work & Organizational Psychology  (EAWOP)was invited guest of  the workshop (on-line).

Laima Bulotaitė, Prof. Dr., Head of Department of Health Psychology, Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy of Vilnius University, Vilnius, Lithuania(on-line). Jurgita Lazauskaitė-Zabielskė, PhD, Associate Professor & Senior Researcher of Organizational Psychology, Head of Organizational Psychology Research Centre, Vilnius University, Head, Lithuanian Psychological Association-Organizational Psychology Committee, Vilnius, Lithuaniawere invited guests and trainers of  the workshop (on-line).

 

Members of Ukrainian Association of Organizational and Work Psychologists(UAOWP)Prof. Liudmyla Karamushka, Dr. Petr Vlasov, PhD Anna Kiseleva,  Dr. Marianna Tkalych, PhD Kira Tereshchenko, Dr. Oksana Kredentser, Phd Valentyna Lagodzinska,  Phd Volodymyr Ivkin, Oleksandr Kovalchuk, Dr. Oleg Kokun, PhD. Larysa Bakhmutova,PhD.Tamara Grubi (Ukranie)were host trainers of the international workshop (off-line).

 

30 representatives from different regions of Ukraine, heads and members of regional branches of UAOWP, who represent 14 cities (Dnipro, Chernigiv, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Lutsk, Sumy, Khmelnytsky, Odessa, Rivne, Skvura, Vinnytsia, Uman) took part in the workshop be off-line. And  25 participants  were in on-line.

Liudmyla Karamushka,Prof.,Dr., Deputy Director,HeadofLaboratory of Organizational and Social Psychology, G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the NAES of Ukraine, President of the Ukrainian Association of Organizational and Work Psychologists (UAOWP)(Kyiv, Ukraine) was the  moderator of workshop..

 

The key ideas of the international workshop were:

—  One of the key features of the workshop is  its international character, in particular, sharing experience in workplace psychological health promotion gained by European countries with similar historical, economic, political, etc. development;

—  An important feature of the workshop is its practical orientation;

—  The workshop content has an interdisciplinary approach, since it is related both to the Health Psychology and Organizational Psychology;

—  An important idea of the workshop is its all-Ukrainian scope. Since the problem of staff psychological health promotion is equally important for all the regions of Ukraine, the workshop will be attended by the heads and members of regional branches of UAOWP, who represent different regions of Ukraine;

—   To discuss future co-operation between WO psychologists in Lithuaniaand Ukraine, particularity with members of Lithuanian Psychological Association-Organizational Psychology Committee, with researchers and lectures from Vilnius University.
